After having another mechanic take an additional two weeks over his estimated start time on a car, to swap transmissions, I checked w Burnett's where I had a good experience previously, and they suggested Bartons. It was 25% more than 'the other guy', but they started on it right away, and had it done in about 4 business days. They missed tightening down an engine mount bolt, but to me this is minor, as I am usually working on the car myself for everything else, and had told them as much. This was something big and heavy that I wanted the best minds handling.
